A journalist for 25 years, Fleur Bainger has written for the likes of Lonely Planet, The UK Telegraph and Australian Geographic, while also reporting for ABC Radio, Triple J and 6PR.
On the food front, she reviews restaurants for Australian Traveller magazine, crafts features for hospitality industry publication, A Plus Insights and almost always weaves food into her national and international travel features.
Looking back, Fleur was the food critic for STM for four years, repeatedly contributing to Gourmet Traveller’s restaurant guide and was an ABC rural reporter, getting a thorough education on food production, beyond what she learned on her family farm.
